How our clinics work...

Participant numbers are limited at each clinic and may vary based on the arena venue.
Mini Clinic’s at the Fitzpatrick Arena are generally no more then 6 participants on the day. Other Mini one day Clinic’s are usually 8-9 participants. Two-day Clinic’s are generally limited to 10-12 participants who will also at times have assistance from Scott Fitzpatrick.

Clinics are one horse per rider as the day is formatted and
works on a progression format and as such, changing horses during the day isn’t of any benefit.

Each Clinic caters to a range of different ability levels. There is never any need to feel intimidated as it is our due dilligence to make sure everyone is made feel welcome, right from complete beginners through to experienced barrel racers.

We are all about building confidence and a solid foundation with your equine partner.

Watch and learn from others. It is always great watch and pay attention whilst others are riding too as there are tonnes of little nuggets of helpful information that can pop up along the way. It may not be an issue you're having right now, but something you encounter later that you will already have the tools to deal with.

Remember it takes time and repetition when learning something new. So don’t be hard on yourself if you don’t master it straight up, I’m here to help get the feel of how it should be every time and give you awareness so you can continue to practice at home and build on this over time.

Bring a positive attitude and an open mind, as everyone has a different way of teaching and different methods and you may just get a totally different perspective!

During the day please ask questions - our policy is that the only silly question asked is the question never asked!! We love it when people come to our clinics with a list of questions physically written on paper or in the notes app on their phone.

Nichole is passionate about helping every level of rider and putting them on track to reaching their individual goals during clinics. Nichole wants to help anyone and everyone who wants to learn more!

Nichole's goal at the end of clinics is to make you feel so much more confidence in yourself and also in your horse and the bond you have together as a team.

How each Clinic Runs

The week prior to a clinic everyone will be asked what they would like to address during the day. This is the perfect time to let me know of any issues you're having with your horse, or of any things you'd like to learn or build on. This also helps plan the way for the Clinic.

Clinic Day

Morning decision

Basic Drills to build awareness of yours and your horses body control

Barrel Pattern work

Motivational talk

Each Clinic will run slightly differently depending on the participants.

Fence Sitter

Some people say they get more from watching than they can riding, while others feel that if they can’t ride, they can’t feel and learn. No limits on fence sitters and it general is $50 per day for fence sitters at Clinics.
